Post Race Dinners
A smorgasbord dinner is held on the same day as the race, at the PAC's waterfront clubhouse in Mona Vale, at which prizes (bottles of wine) are awarded to first three places in both divisions - non-attendees forfeit their prizes. Trophies are awarded at the December "Christmas" post race dinner.
PAC members, their partners, children, and invited guests including all race participants are welcome at the dinners. The evenings commence at 5:30 "for" 6pm (6:30 during daylight saving).
Attendees contribute $20/head (less for children) which covers their meal, nibbles, beers, wine and soft drinks, tea/coffee/cakes etc.. Members do the catering, so pre-booking by the preceding Wednesday is appreciated. PAC is a cooperative club, run by volunteers, so dinner attendees also assist with the clean-up, and everyone is usually on their way home by around 8pm Sunday.
